Made of pure brass, this is a traditional brewing equipment for home use, or makes for a perfect gift. The South Indian brass filter extracts a strong brew, giving the coffee a heavy-body, packed with flavour and aroma.
The lid at the top of the filter has a little handle made of wood, and this gives the filter an elegant look, as well as makes it convenient to open and shut the lid when the entire apparatus is hot.
Coffee powder is put into the upper chamber and hot water is added. This is placed over the lower chamber and the coffee is allowed to drip slowly. The resultant brew is thick and concentrated, and full of flavour. Add this to hot milk or hot water.
